Multiple RAS Messages Per PDU? (Q7)

The information in this article applies to:

Section 6.1/H.225.0v2 says, "When messages are sent on the reliable H.245 control channel, more than one message may be sent within the boundaries defined by the reliable transport PDU as long as whole messages are sent;" However, nothing is said about whether more than one RAS message may be sent "within the boundaries defined by the unreliable transport PDU as long as whole messages are sent." With this ambiguity, there is the possibility of interoperability problems. However, there is really no need to pack RAS messages, because they consume such a tiny amount of bandwidth. Ammortizing packet overhead across the few messages that are exchanged is just not worth the trouble, so as long as you send one RAS message per PDU, we'll all be happy, even though H.225.0 does not preclude you from doing so.
