Must Accept Silence Frames (Q48)

The information in this article applies to:

Section 6.7/H.324v2: "G.723.1 receivers shall be capable of accepting silence frames." This does not mean that a receiver must process silence frames, only that it must at least ignore them and continue to operate, e.g., not crash. Some vendors ignore this requirement.
