Contribiting to Packetizer

If you have any information relating to some of the emerging technologies we cover on Packetizer, please send it to the webmaster so that we can publish it and/or create the new content area. We will work with you to create a new section on Packetizer, giving you the platform to share your ideas or grow an emerging technology.

We will attribute any work to you unless you request otherwise. Any information contributed to Packetizer must either be classified as public domain or you must agree to grant Packetizer a non-exclusive license to publish and backup said content in perpetuity. We will not accept content that contains trade secrets. We don't want to get sued; you don't want to get fired. Your contribution can be as simple as a single tip for solving a particularly implementation issue or clarification of some aspect of a standard or as involved as a complete tutorial on a particular protocol. See the list below for ideas. Conversely, if there is something that you would like to see, please let us know.

Here is a list of the types of contributions for which we are looking. It is likely that you already have things like this lying around somewhere that you had to put together for your own use or use within your organization. Let's share!

Operating Mailing Lists or Moderating Web Forums

If you are interested to operate a mailing list or moderate a forum hosted by Packetizer, let us know and we'll be happy to work with you to make it happen. We operate a number of mailing lists and forums that have proven to be a valuable service to the public. However, it does require people to make this possible.
