The information in this article applies to: G.723.1

The first part of each G.723.1 frame indicates what kind of frame it is and therefore how long it is. Here are the values for the two least-significant bits of the first octet of a G.723.1 frame, along with the type of frame it is and how long the frame is.

• 0 1 low 20
• 1 1 (reserved for future use)
